Top Modern Methods For Listening To Your Preferred Music Wherever You Are

After creating your account, you will see the dashboard page where you can change your settings or add another user. 

Once you’ve signed into Google Play Music, you’ll be able to start listening to music. To do so, just type in the name of a song you’d like to hear. A drop-down menu will appear from which you can select whether to download the song to your computer, stream the song through your speakers, or listen via Chromecast.

You can choose to keep any music you add to your library private or public. Public means anyone can view your collection, while private keeps your selection hidden from prying eyes. Private libraries are only available to the owner of the account unless you share them with friends. 

How to add tracks to your library 

One of the most useful features of Google Play Music is its ability to search for specific artists. This makes finding new music easier than ever. Once you’ve found a track you want to add to your library, just click the Add button above the list of results. 

If you’re looking for more suggestions, simply navigate to Search Results then Browse by Genre. From here, you can browse genres such as pop, hip hop, country, and rock among others. Each genre will display related songs, albums, and videos. You can also filter what types of music you prefer by clicking on Artists (or Albums). 

In addition to browsing genres, you can also look for specific artists. Enter the names of popular artists or try typing in a few letters and seeing what comes up. Don’t forget to check out the Related Artists section too! 

On top of searching for music using Google Play Music’s built-in search engine, you can also find new music using apps like Pandora. Just launch the app on your Android device, create an account, and tap the Connect button (the one with the circle) located next to Recommended Songs and Featured Stations. You can then connect your Google account and start exploring new tunes. 

How to control playback 

When you first open Google Play Music, you will see two tabs – Library and My Music. Library is where you will find the music that you have added to your account. However, if you want to listen to a particular song right now, head to My Music. Here, you can adjust the volume for your currently playing track. 

On the left side of the screen, you will see a small bar that displays the current time and how much of the song remains. At the bottom of the screen, you can use Google Assistant to play your next song without having to leave the application. By tapping the microphone icon, you can ask Google to play the next track in your queue or suggest a song based on what you’ve been listening to recently. 

When you tap the fullscreen button, you can adjust volume and skip forward and back. On the bottom left corner of the screen, you will notice three dots. Tap these to access the options panel. Here, you can change the language of the interface, change the order in which you display albums and songs, and turn on automatic album art. 

As mentioned earlier, you can also use the app to control playback on your Android phone. All you need to do is open the Google Play Music app, tap Menu, and select Settings. Under Audio, you will see a toggle switch titled Use Google Assistant. Tapping this will enable voice recognition, allowing you to skip tracks or search for new music by speaking. 

How to use chromecast with Google Play Music 

One of the coolest things about Google Play Music is its ability to connect to your Chromecast. With a simple one-tap setup, you can enjoy music streaming right on your TV. All you need to do is open the Google Play Music app on your phone, tap Chromecast, and follow the instructions. 

Afterward, you should see the Cast Control option under the Devices menu. Simply select this, and you will be able to cast music directly to your television. Of course, this feature isn’t limited to music; you can cast anything you would like to watch.

How to use the Chromecast app 

Although the Chromecast app is built right into Google Play Music, it is still worth mentioning. Using this app, you can control your Chromecasts from anywhere. This includes turning your Chromecast on and off, changing the volume, and adjusting the brightness. 

If you’d rather not use the app, you can always use the Google Play Music mobile app to send music to your TV. Just open the app, tap Chromecast, and follow the steps. You can also use the app to manage your Playlists. 

What else can I do with Google Play Music? 

With Google Play Music, you don’t have to worry about managing your music files. Everything is stored online and is accessible whenever you need it. In fact, Google Play Music even supports a number of useful features. 

For example, you can use the music player to create custom radio stations by adding multiple songs to a playlist. In order to create a customized station, simply load your chosen playlist and hit Create Station. 

Another cool thing about Google Play Music is that you can use it as a remote control for your TV. Just open the app, tap Remote, and you can control every aspect of your television. You can pause a show, skip ahead a few seconds, or even mute a channel.
