Here are our first impressions of the Galaxy A80.

Well, the Galaxy A80 seems like a pretty interesting phone, especially thanks to the slider design and the rotating cameras. There is no face unlock support in the Galaxy A80. The scanner works consistently and fast and is placed where you'd expect - we got used to it in no time.

The design looks relatively premium, but pick up the Galaxy A40 and the lightweight frame and cheaper feel reveals it's made up of a glass and plastic combo, rather than being an all-glass affair. There's also no expandable storage via microSD card - a staple on most other Galaxy handsets - so make sure you buy the correct amount of storage, as you can't increase it later on after you've snapped a few hundred high-resolution selfies with that stellar camera. There is no 3.5mm audio jack in the smartphone, which will certainly irk some prospective buyers.
