The memorial service for Nipsey begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday and the Staples Center urges anyone attending to show up early.

However, sources who were reportedly close to the murder as it unfolded, told TMZ Holder allegedly shot Nipsey twice and started to run off.

All this was happening while a large mural was being completed in the late rapper Nipsey Hussle's likeness, cellphone photos were being captured and a plethora of items were being left out front of his Marathon Clothing store where he was fatally shot and killed exactly one week ago.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the other two men are in stable condition.

Since his tragic passing, tributes have flooded in for the Grammy-nominated rapper.

NAN reports that Nipsey was outspoken about his experience with street violence and described growing up in gang culture in his Crenshaw neighbourhood of South Los Angeles as "living in a war zone".
