In an Instagram video posted on Sunday evening, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the co-sponsor and chief advocate of the Green New Deal, proposed a term for people like Feinstein: "climate delayer".

"Well the reason why I can't is because there's no way to pay for it", Feinstein responded.

"I've gotten elected. I just ran", she continues. "Cuz you're not. So, until you do it, I'm the boss.' How about that?'"

A 49-year-old Coast Guard lieutenant was charged last week for stockpiling guns, ammunition and drugs in his home just outside of Washington, D.C.

"The key to legislation is to tailor something that you can write so that it can pass", Feinstein says. In it, Feinstein acknowledges that she might vote for a pending resolution for the so-called Green New Deal, despite her opposition to its far-reaching implications and costs.

"I've gotten elected, I just ran, I was elected by nearly a million-vote plurality, and I know what I'm doing", the senator continued.

Trump was responding to some of the ideas that have been advocated in the Green New Deal.

"You know what's interesting about this group", Feinstein observes at one point, "is I've been doing this for 30 years".

When the students told her she has to listen to them because they voted for them, Feinstein challenged one student on her age until she admitted she was 16. Others found the negative reaction to the her comments as unreasonable, especially after watching the full video.

"All we're seeing now is the true ugliness and darkness of her ideology being revealed", Hilton said, calling the statement "disturbingly authoritarian".

Thus, she averred, "We have one shot. People want to work for what they get", failing to mention that the only reason she has been granted the privilege and access to government jets is because of her father. He intimated that "grown-ups" Mike Bloomberg and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz are the only two people who have put Ocasio-Cortez in her place.

Trump continued by saying that people "want the ability to be able to secure a job". "I have been and remain committed to doing everything I can to enact real, meaningful climate change legislation".

Reacting on "Outnumbered" Tuesday, Steve Hilton said that when Ocasio-Cortez first came on the political scene he liked her "anti-establishment" tendencies. "If you think that is how you win back the White House, I'm here to tell you I've spent a lot of time in red states, I'm from a red state, that is a losing argument".
