The Mi Mix 3 5G price starts at Euro 599 (roughly Rs.48,300).

Xiaomi is one of the first companies to hold a glamorous launch event in Barcelona for the 2019 Mobile World Congress, and as suspected for quite some time now, a 5G-enabled Mi Mix 3 variant is taking center stage.

Rest of the specifications remains similar to the standard variant of the Mi MIX 3. Shortly after, the company teased that the same model would be getting a 5G version, and at the MWC 2019 trade show, we've been treated to just that. The Mi MIX 3 5G is not a different smartphone and is basically the Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone with Snapdragon X50 5G modem.

The display is a 6.39-inch 19.5:9 Samsung AMOLED, and beneath that is a "new and improved in-screen fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone up to 25% faster than the previous generation", Xiaomi promises. Notably, the phonemaker had launched the Mi 9 flagship phone last week on its home soil, on the same day as Samsung's Unpacked event. It packs a 3,200mAh battery along with fast charging and wireless charging. It also has the Qualcomm X50 modem for 5G. Xiaomi says it will be available in May on Mi.com, at Mi Stores, and at retail partner stores. The Mi MIX 3 5G also features the same dual 12MP main cameras with AI assistance plus a 24MP + 2MP dual-camera combo for the front. Connectivity options on the Mi MIX 3 include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 price in the global markets has been set at Euro 449 (roughly Rs. 36,200) for the base 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model will be available at Euro 499 (roughly Rs. 40,200). Pre-orders for the Mi 9 start in Spain, Italy and France today. There are three smartphones in the Mi 9 series including the affordable Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Explorer Edition.

It's available in Piano Black, Ocean Blue, and Lavender Violet, though we were told that in the United Kingdom only the black and blue versions would be available at launch.
