Samsung leaks Galaxy S10 model names
In addition, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer is also expected to unveil its long-awaited foldable phone aka Galaxy Fold, Samsung earbuds, among other things. This feels like an intentional move on Xiaomi's part though, as Samsung revealed their Galaxy S10 launch date weeks before. All three smartphones will feature the punch-hole "Infinity-O" AMOLED display with HDR+ resolution, IP68 rating and USB Type-C ports. Confirming rumours and leaks, Galaxy S10 and S10+ will feature ultrasonic fingerprint sensor along with facial recognition. That's thanks to Xiaomi, which has made a decision to launch its Mi 9 on the same day as the Galaxy S10.
The site claims this information comes from a source within Samsung's retail wing, and most of the information presented matches up with what we've heard before.
The phones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, while the global market variant, which will come to India as well, will have the Exynos 9820 processor on board. This basically means that a single battery can charge other batteries. A triple-camera setup will be used on the back, while the front-facing unit will consist of two cameras. For selfies, the Galaxy S10 will sport a 10-megapixel (f/1.9) camera.
Not only that, the leaked S10 Plus video shows the screen actually turning on. The Galaxy S10+ will include 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants, though the latter will be reserved for the Ceramic Black Galaxy S10+. It also packs a bigger 4,100mAh battery with the same charging capabilities. The handsets will also be capable of recording videos in 4K from the 10MP selfie camera at the front.
Samsung Galaxy S10E is a more toned version of the Galaxy S10. It's otherwise the same; there's a 6.2-inch curved OLED, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with a microSD slot. It does come with facial recognition though.
