"It's just a game y'all...and I'm sorry but that's not what music is to me", tweeted the pop star.

Just six months after releasing her Grammy-nominated last album, the ponytailed diva has returned with her fifth studio LP, which she surprise-dropped early Friday. Sweetener heard Grande rebounding from what most could have only imagined would be the tragedy of her lifetime - the Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people at her concert in May of 2017. At the end of the video Granda approaches the couple, and instead of pulling Melton towards her, she pulls the girl towards her and looks like she is about to kiss her, before the creative cuts out. Especially after the pains Ariana Grande went through in her personal life, with the split from Pete Davidson and ex-boyfriend Mac Miller dying; everyone was glad to see that singer found a way to heal.

The music video, which goes along with her latest hit, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored", was released early Friday morning, but it already has nearly 8 million views.

Lyrics: "Break up with your girlfriend, Yeah, yeah, 'cause I'm bored". "But we realized that you might need some space", NASA tweeted.

Responding to fans' speculation about the track, Ariana has suggested the song runs much deeper - and could provide a clue as to why she and Pete split.

The premiere of the clip on YouTube came complete with a chatroom, which you can still check out, a sacred space where fellow Grande stans gushed about their undying love and devotion to the Princess of Pop (Bey is Queen).

Sharon Osbourne is "so proud" of Ariana Grande after she slammed Grammy producers for "stifling" her creativity. "Keep me in your orbit and you know you'll drag me under", she sings.

Other fans think Grande could be experimenting with women, or may be bisexual.

In a separate tweet, Grande uploaded a screenshot of Ehrlrich's quote from the AP story to give fans some context.

Ultimately, Grande's newest album is poised to become a huge hit and for once, the accolades are deserved. "I'm so proud of you for standing up to those antiquated old farts who produce the #Grammy Awards telecast and run the Recording Academy".
