New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has surged in the rankings after finishing with 12 wickets in the series against India, which culminated in Wellington on Sunday with a 4-1 victory for the visiting side.

While India are yet to open their account in the shortest format of the game in New Zealand, they have a poor head-to-head record against the Black Caps.

The latest update also takes into account India's preceding three-match series against Australia.

India's legendary wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is back in the T20 mix after being omitted from the series against Australia in 2018 and his performance will also be keenly followed.

The first India Women vs New Zealand Women T20I is being telecast on Star Sports Network. There aren't too many global matches left before the World Cup in June; apart from the three T20Is now, India have only two more T20Is and five ODIs against Australia at home.

The Men in Blue powered their way to a 4-1 win in the one-dayers - their biggest-ever victory margin in any series in New Zealand - with a commanding display.

With Martin Guptill ruled out of the T20I series, the onus will be on Munro to hit the ground running.

With three T20I tons to his name, Munro is capable of pulling off the occasional blinders and it will be up to Bhuvneshwar Kumar to stop him with the new ball. Tim Seifert will be donning the wicket-keeping gloves in the Kane Williamson led side. "He's a great asset for our team and I'm sure that he will grab this opportunity with both hands", Dhawan was quoted as saying prior to the first T20I encounter at the Westpac Stadium. In the absence of regular captain Virat Kohli, India's top-order is likely to be bolstered by the presence of wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. "Of course, this format demands aggressive batting and I'll try to display it tomorrow and in the further matches", Dhawan added.
