It appears that the problems is affecting a large part of the United States, the United Kingdom as well as some parts of europe and Asia.

Just last week, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram users around the world were left in a "total blackout" for almost an hour after the site crashed early on Nov 12.

The outage comes as Facebook's stock price continues to slide. "We are investigating the issue and working on a resolution".
