Global technology company OnePlus announced that the limited edition OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple handset will be available in the United Kingdom from 15 November, as part of a launch in Europe and North America. It comes with a price tag of INR 41,999 and the highest-end edition of the phone boasts 8GB RAM stacked with 256GB of storage area and it is marketed at INR 45,999.

Pete Lau, Founder and CEO, OnePlus, said, "The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple is a stunning combination of power and beauty - the black-to-purple fade is like a thunderstorm on a summer night". Users can own it starting 11 am on November 11th via and OnePlus Store.

It is not a special edition so the pricing is going to remain the same as the other two colors.

On purchasing the OnePlus 6T in Thunder Purple color option, HDFC cardholders will get a cashback of Rs 1,500.

The OnePlus 5G phone will be part of a new line of devices, meant to complement the current portfolio.

OnePlus is releasing a new "Thunder Purple" color option for the OnePlus 6T smartphone on November 15. This smartphone bears a display of 6.41-inches with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. In this case, the upcoming OnePlus 6T SKU is not a solid purple, hence the Thunder Purple descriptor. The mid-range variant of the handset holds 8GB RAM associated with 128GB of storage memory support. It is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU for very fast performance.

On the imaging front, the 6T is armed with 16 megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture with Optical and Electronic Image Stabilisation and 20 megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash.

For selfies, the OnePlus 6T sports a 16-megapixel front camera sensor with EIS. In connectivity, OnePlus 6T carries USB-C Type port, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and NFC.

The device is backed by a 3,700mAh battery and runs OxygenOS 9.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie.
