Diablo Immortal is co-developed by Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase, who in addition to having developed some of the most successful mobile games in history, has been a longtime partner of Blizzard in China. It's not exactly an uplifting motivational storyline as the game focuses on Skarn, Herald of Terror, collecting individual parts of the destroyed Worldstone to try and resurrect Diablo. In time-old internet fashion, they've resorted to a flurry of mocking and angry threads across Twitter and Reddit, as well as smashing that dislike button on YouTube. The world stone's corruption eventually spread through its many shards until events led to the revival of the demon lord Diablo in the events of "Diablo III". With Diablo Immortal, players have access to half a dozen character classes and a "constantly evolving experience".
