Rochester Woman Arrested for Alleged Involvement with Fulton County Bus Stop Accident

Three young siblings were killed and another child was seriously injured when they were hit while boarding their school bus in Rochester Tuesday morning. A fourth child was badly hurt and airlifted to a hospital.

ISP allege Shepherd didn't come to a stop on S.R. 25 when the bus was stopped, killing three children and leaving another in critical condition.

As previously reported, three children, 6-year-old twins Xzavier and Mason Ingle and their 9-year-old sister Alivia Stahl all passed away at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. ISP says Lowe is in surgery for internal injuries and multiple broken bones.

Four total students were hit, according to Indiana State Police. A truck headed the opposite direction hit the children.

Court documents say Alyssa Shepherd got out of jail Tuesday evening after posting a $15,000 bond on reckless homicide charges.

Indiana State Police Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, the Rochester School Corporation, the Rochester and Mentone Fire Departments, Lutheran EMS and the Fulton County Coroner's Office.

'We have deployed all school counselors to meet the emotional needs of our staff, students and parents.

He says the family previously reached out to school officials to say it's not safe for kids to cross the highway, especially at the time of the morning when it's still dark. He added, "Today, and for many more to come, we mourn their loss. There are no words", she said. Tony Slocum confirmed to CNN.
