Girls Planned Knife Attack's At Bartow Middle School

Florida police have arrested two middle school students who planned to attack and kill as many of their fellow students as possible, according to reports.

The administrators found them in a bathroom stall and brought them back to their offices where they found the girls in possession of four knives, a pizza cutter and a knife sharpener, police said.

The girls, who have not been named, are said to have been found in a bathroom holding a goblet meant to hold the blood of their victims, and are also accused of planning to kill themselves after the bloodbath.

Police say they found a hand-drawn map of the school and hallways in the home of the 12-year-old, which showed where the girls planned to commit their killings, News Channel 8 reported.

Investigators said they recovered text messages in which the girls allegedly discussed the details of the attack. "Go to kill in bathroom" was written on the map. Police said one one of the girls said in a message, "We will leave body parts at the entrance and then we will kill ourselves".

Both girls have been hit with multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a weapon on school property. But police said they'd been planning the ritual since the past weekend. Notices have been sent to the parents/guardians of students at Bartow Middle School informing them of the situation.

The girls planned to stake out a school bathroom and wait for smaller students to enter, according to the police affidavit.

"They did make comments that they were willing to drink blood and possibly eat flesh".

The girls admitted to investigators that they were "Satan-worshippers".

A Bartow Middle School student got wind of the alleged impending attack and spoke up.

When they were found in the bathroom where the crimes were scheduled to take place, with subsequent police searches uncovering evidence of the massacre plot.

Extra police officers and guidance counsellors have been drafted into the school for the rest of the week.

"Some kids will see stuff that's creepy and develop an anxiety disorder and some kids will see stuff that is creepy and say, 'Oh, I want to do that, I want to play in that, '" she warned.
