Former Ole Miss quarterback arrested, charged with trespassing in Colorado

Denver Broncos quarterback Chad Kelly (85) speaks to the media following rookie minicamp drills at the UCHealth Training Center.

Police arrested Chad Kelly for trespassing early Tuesday morning, according to a press release and affidavit from the Englewood Police Department.

While officers were responding, they received information that the male was now inside the residence.

A woman in the house, identified as Nancy Lozano, was sitting on the couch with her young child when the man walked into the residence, sat down next to her and began mumbling.

The records say the man chased the intruder out, striking him in the back with a vacuum tube.

TMZ, which reported that Von Miller hosted the shindig, depicted it as "cocaine-themed". The theme was the wild west.

Emmanuel Sanders defended his choice to dress up as a character played by Dave Chappelle known as Tyrone Biggums.

Kelly made an appearance in an Arapahoe County courthouse later Tuesday morning and has been released. He'll appear in court tomorrow, October 24. Still, the team isn't happy about its second-year quarterback's situation.

This is not the news the Denver Broncos wanted to hear early Tuesday morning. "We are in the process of getting all the facts and talking to Chad, and then we'll figure out exactly which direction we're going to go".

The investigation is ongoing, police say. He also stayed on the team and went on to serve as its starting quarterback. A knee injury derailed his first season, forcing him to redshirt, and he was later dismissed by Tigers coach Dabo Sweeney in 2014 after arguing with the coaching staff during Clemson's spring game. The injury, plus Kelly's behavioral and legal issues, led many National Football League teams to remove him from their draft boards.

Kelly was drafted by the Broncos in the seventh and final round of the 2017 NFL Draft with the last pick, the so-called "Mr".

What in the world happened to Kelly that would lead him from the party to some random family's home back to his SUV at the party?

Kelly serves as the QB2 for the Broncos, behind starter Case Keenum.

It was a natural suggestion.
