It'll become more widely available October 9, according to ZDNet.

The last Windows 10 Update released on April introduced Timeline which allowed you to go as far as 30 days back to see what you did on your computer.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has blocked the Windows 10 October 2018 update for some systems because of a compatibility problem with Intel Display Audio device drivers.

Forcing a big Windows update ahead of schedule isn't as complicated as it might sound, because Microsoft itself actually provides a user-friendly tool to so do, in the form of the Windows 10 Update Assistant.

Timeline support is also coming to Microsoft Edge in a beta version due to debut in early November, allowing you to quickly access your tabs whether they were open on a PC or the mobile version of Edge.

In other Windows 10 news, users have also vocalised issues in persuading the Edge browser to connect to websites, reporting errors such as "Cannot securely connect to this page".

We haven't had a chance to test the new Windows Update yet. Well, the app also works with iPhone, but Android users will be able to make more out of the app.

There are a number of incremental tweaks and new features for Windows 10, but the three probably main draws for this iteration of the operating system would be a phone-based expansion to the Timeline Feature, the new Cloud Clipboard, and the Your Phone app.

After downloading the tool, run it to upgrade your computer to the latest version of Windows 10. Microsoft has now brought in the Your Phone app for Windows that means you can access and send texts, see photos and more from Android devices. "This is unbelievable, I have been using Microsoft products since 1995 and nothing like that ever happened to me", he wrote on Microsoft's user forum.

This is a nice little addition that gives you more control over what's using up your Windows 10 laptop's battery life. You can now customise more, too.

Not everyone is a fan of Windows 10's frequent updates, which over the years have triggered show-stopping bugs on some PCs.

Interestingly Microsoft promises faster updates, smaller downloads, and less downtime from updates.

What is good about the program is that it checks the installed version and tells you right away if an update is available.
