The Duchess has a laugh with children from the Sayers Croft Forest School.

Kate crouched in bushes with youngsters at Sayers Croft Trust's forest school and wildlife garden in west London.

Naturally, the mother-of-three looked flawless in a set of brown skinny jeans, a green sweater and jacket, and a set of her old favorite riding boots.

Kate's visit to the school was to see the "Positive impact that the Forest School has on children's emotional and physical wellbeing, " according to Kensington Palace.

Planting seeds in small pots and watering them was just another one of the many tasks planned out for Kate's visit.

The London-based school teaches children about the natural world, taking in thousands of students each year for visits.

While the duchess has been seen at a handful of events since Prince Louis was born five months ago, this was her first official solo engagement.

Kate Middleton is back at work.

Catherine focuses heavily on children's charities, and is also a patron of the Royal Foundation along with her husband Prince William, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. She also attended Trooping the Colour in June alongside Queen Elizabeth. Kate joined the young students on a quest for bugs and "mini beasts" of their own, as she got down close to the ground to help them.

She took more time following the May 2, 2015, birth of Princess Charlotte, now 3, returning to work that September.

We're so glad to have you back, Kate!
