Kim wants the President to get behind prison reform legislation that will rejigger sentences so they fit the crime.

But the headliner was Kardashian West, who last visited the White House three months ago to press for a pardon for 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson. In a new episode of the podcast "Wrongful Conviction", Kardashian West discusses the case of Chris Young, sentenced to life in prison for marijuana and cocaine possession after a 2010 arrest.

According to reports, Kim is meeting with the head of state to rally behind a 30-year prisoner now serving a life sentence. Young was sentenced to life in prison in 2014 for his role in a large cocaine distribution conspiracy.

"I was on the phone with the judge that sentenced him to life. who resigned because he had never been on the side of having to do something so unfair, and now he is fighting [alongside] us to get [Young] out", said Kardashian, who added that she speaks to President Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner regularly, calling him "passionate" about changing sentencing laws.

Meanwhile, Kim may have made a career out of her looks and curvaceous figure, but she recently said she'd love to follow in her late father Robert Kardashian's footsteps and become a lawyer - and her team of legal advisors think she'd be good at it.

"It's so unfair", she said, according to Page Six, who received an advanced version of the podcast. She spoke previous year with senior adviser and presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner, who also hosted Wednesday's session.

Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian West is at the White House for a listening session on prison reform, in particular, about the clemency process, the White House confirmed Thursday.

"Yesterday, I had a call with a gentleman that's in prison for a drug case - got life".

In prison, Chris is said to study in his free time and read as much as he can. He was convicted in 2013 on drug charges and also pleaded guilty to being a felon with a gun. "I love this woman", Kardashian told Kotb while holding Johnson close. He does, however, say that mandatory minimum sentences were at the heart of his decision and regrets Young's sentence.
