The Xperia XZ3 does come with a glass back, and Sony has made a decision to take advantage of that, as the device does support Qi wireless charging, and is compatible with pretty much any Qi-supported wireless charging pad out there.

The smartphone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, and also comes with IP65/IP68 certified water resistance. Battery capacity has increased to 3 330 mAh. The XZ3 is the first device that was introduced with Android 9.0 "Pie". In addition, the smartphone has a 6 GB RAM and internal storage on 64/128 GB, if you such amount of internal memory is not enough, the developers have provided a slot for microSD cards. Other than that, the Xperia XZ3 is also equipped with a slightly larger battery at 3330mAh.

The XZ3 features a first for Sony, the smartphone has an OLED display used in Sony Bravia televisions. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor and comes with support for wireless charging. Already, we have numerous benchmarks, spec sheets, color options and all other details. An Australian launch will hopefully follow soon after. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It still has a refreshed design compared to last year's Sony devices, and it still offers a good display, waterproofing, plenty of power and the same camera as the XZ3.

Sony's Xperia smartphone series hasn't seen the same success as the company's PlayStation business, but the handsets do hold some ground in the premium smartphone segment despite being overshadowed by the likes of iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones.
