Samsung starts global sales of Galaxy Note 9

Galaxy Note 9 changed the course of history the entire line, and Samsung is rightfully considered the best smartphone as its brainchild.

The South Korean tech giant said the new 6.4-inch phablet is now available in major markets, including South Korea, the United States, Britain, and India.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A8 Star features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card. The device has an 8-megapixel rear primary camera and a 5-megapixel sensor for the front selfies.

The new Note 9 also meets the same IP68 water resistance standards as the earlier model and now runs on Android 8.1, compared to the Note 8's Android 7.1 operating system.

Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.

Samsung recently launched its Galaxy Note 9 flagship smartphone and this device was expected to dominate Apple's iPhone X when it came to hardware performances, but this is not the case. Priced at Rs 34,990, the Galaxy A8 Star will clearly have difficulties selling especially considering the fact that it's an online-exclusive variant.

Oh, and if you are a mobile gamer, you can take yourFortnite skills on the road cause insanely popular battle royale game can be played on the powerful smartphone. It is also compatible with the Samsung Dex, which enables a desktop experience on the smartphone, and Bixby smart assistant.

The Note 9 is available in 128-gigabyte and 512GB models, with support for up to 1 terabyte of storage via expandable memory.

Samsung has unveiled their very first Android Oreo Go running smartphone in India. A 4000mAh battery completes the package.
