And, you know, he didn't mean it.

In the meantime, let's take a look at the highlights of the finale. And so it played out with Garrett and Blake. Becca defended him, saying that it's not who he is. "That's when I just started to question the longevity of it", she said. She says that her connection to Horstmann was instant and that she knows he would make the best father, husband, and partner in crime. But the Instagram brouhaha also had the effect of essentially spoiling the season: The amount of immediate blowback from those involved with the show, including a full interview with Becca on the topic and a carefully worded apology from Garrett, suggested he was the season's victor.

During their final solo date together, Horstmann says that Kufrin deserves "the happiest of endings". All of the family members felt that Horstmann was a great match for Kufrin and that they seemed to be each other's equals.

While some of #BachelorNation has offered well wishes to the happy couple, Kufrin said she hasn't heard from her former fiancé Arie Luyendyk Jr. "For a while I've been in love with Blake, and he always surprises me". Then Garrett proposes, Becca says yes, and they are engaged.

The rejection: It's a credit to the producers that they were able to keep us guessing (or at least some of us) until nearly the final moment, when the man she was about to reject stepped out of a motorboat onto the beach.

"Hopefully people can stay open-minded to her decision", Yrigoyen said. He was the most confident going into the proposal.

"I wrote him a little note like, "I love you a bushel and a peck" and that's how he got that name", Kufrin shared. But, is it Horstmann who gets picked by Kufrin at the end of her journey as the Bachelorette? Then Garrett cries while talking with Becca's sister, Emily, and she immediately goes to tell Becca that she made Garrett cry. Blake was left heartbroken when Becca dumped him during the August 6 finale of The Bachelorette. Blake and Becca then rehash their conversation, minus the crying. "I thought what we had was real".

Becca asks if she can walk him out, mostly because he would probably walk directly into the ocean if he didn't have a chaperone. Most fans saw this coming - Blake gets his heart broken into a million pieces and Becca gives her final rose to Blake.

"I was #TeamGarrett until he said the Parkland victims were crisis actors". He said she was intelligent, genuine, amusing and kind-hearted. Before Becca can make her choice, though, there has to be a montage of Blake, Becca, and Garrett staring off into the middle distance as they get ready for the proposal - or public humiliation.

More importantly for viewers' purposes, he said he had learned and grown from the experience, and "I'm not gonna be scared now of falling in love again".

On Monday night, Reality Steve confirmed that the spoilers were indeed true.

The pictures of the two women side by side also made their way to the interent as Bachelorette fans took note of Garrett's love of beautiful brunettes.

In their final meeting on a dock in the Maldives, Becca bewilderingly explained to Blake that their relationship was so strong that she was "overlooking other relationships".
