Demi Lovato 911 call released: 'No sirens, please'

Conflicting reports claim there were two different ways the singer received the drug - one report alleges it was the paramedics who administered it; another claims it was her friends inside the home who gave it to her.

Lovato's family wants the singer to check into a rehab outside Los Angeles as soon as she is discharged from the hospital.

TMZ report that a number of Demi's friends have sensed the star had been struggling in recent weeks, and an intervention was reportedly staged.

The world is extremely thankful to not have lost another beloved figure to substance abuse, and Lovato's large group of famous friends are expressing that all over the internet and offering their utmost support.

The singer-actress, who entered rehab in 2010, struggled with an eating disorder, self-mutilation and other issues.

On the track, she sings: "Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore / And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor".

Last month Lovato released the song "Sober" in which she revealed she had relapsed.

The four-and-a-half-minute call does not include details of what led to paramedics to transport Lovato to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday.

"She was dating someone who her family didn't approve of and they wanted her to stay far away from him, but she believes she can make her own decisions about who she hangs out with and who she dates", the source noted.

Another source told ET that Lovato's downturn began in the spring.

Dr. Drew Pinksy, who specializes in drug addiction, recently came out with some advice regarding Demi Lovato.

"F**k, I forgot the lyrics", she said, laughing.

"There's a lot of talent and a lot of people pushing out quality work, that feeling I got when Scribe and them were coming out with their music (in the early 2000s), I'm getting that feeling again", SPYCC said.

However, at around 11am in the morning, her assistant became concerned that she wasn't up and out of bed, so went to check on her. Lovato finished the song by pledging to get help: "I'm sorry that I'm here again/I promise I'll get help/It wasn't my intention/I'm sorry to myself".

She last performed July 22 at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, California.
