RAM: Up to 32GB of DDR4 memory.

As ever there are two new models that are going to hit shop shelves, a 15-inch MacBook Pro and a 13-inch model.

While there are many impressive quirks to this notebook, Apple has especially highlighted their Retina Display with True Tone technology as being the best ever display they have made. It takes ambient light color and brightness into consideration and then adjusts the display's white point and illumination to present a consistent white in every environment.

The keyboard is the third generation unit for the quietest typing anywhere you end up working.

MacBook Pro can be updated this fall with macOS Mojave, the latest version of the world's most advanced desktop operating system.

Apple did indicate that the new MacBook Pros are part of a broader Back to School promotion that begins today that includes a pair of qualifying Beats headphones with the purchase of any eligible Mac or iPad Pro for college.

Prices in the USA for the new MacBook Pros start at $1,799 for the 13-inch model, $2,399 for the 15-incher. Both also offer up to 4TB and 2TB of solid state storage respectively. Finally, Apple also revealed a new eGPU box designed by Blackmagic, containing a Radeon Pro 580 GPU for those in need of some extra graphics power. Apple's Macbook Pro keyboard design has been under fire recently for its rate of failure and high cost to replace.

This 6-core processors - offered in high-end models - are another first for MacBooks. They have updated components, but the computer design is unchanged. The laptop features an Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics 655 paired with 128MB of eDRAM. The Notebooks are available for order on www.apple.com and would come to select Apple retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers later this week. With the T2 Chip, Apple can deliver an enhanced security system with support for secure boot and on-the-fly encrypted storage.

You can still buy less expensive 13-inch MacBook Pros without the Touch Bar, starting at $1299. It will be available in Saddle Brown, Midnight Blue, and Black. Depends what you do with your MacBook Pro.
