Man Utd chiefs confident agreeing Willian fee with Chelsea

Manchester United have reportedly leapfrogged Barcelona in the race to sign Chelsea winger Willian. They are thus, looking to include a player they want to offload this summer in a bid to lower the transfer fee.

Willian had his best season with the Blues last term as he notched 13 goals across all competitions but he was nevertheless frustrated with almost half of his gametime coming off the substitutes' bench.

Willian will not come cheap as Chelsea have the 29-year-old under contract until 2020. We see a lot of things on the internet, but this is not the time to talk about this.

However, the Brazilian international's future is in doubt as he struggled to hold down a regular first team place last season having started just 20 games under Antonio Conte and Willian admitted last month that he was frustrated with his bit-part role at the club.

It looks highly likely that the winger is doomed for a move away from West London and the Blues could be intent on utilizing this situation in their favour and raise their asking price.

Reports from Spain now claims that the Catalans are not in a position to pay so much for Willian and have opted for a player-plus-cash swap deal instead.

Meanwhile, Everton are interested in Barcelona defender Yerry Mina who scored for Colombia against England.

"I'm not aware of any bids", Jair Mina told RAC1.

"If he really wants to go are you going to keep a player who doesn't want to be there?"

"[Mina] moved in January to succeed at a big club and Barca are a big club".

Mina starred in Russian Federation this summer, scoring three goals in three appearances before Colombia were knocked out in the round of 16 by England earlier this week.

And the Blues will face an even more hard task of keeping hold of their star players with many top European suitors keen on luring the Chelsea players away from Stamford Bridge.
