LeBron James jersey sales booming after Lakers signing

James signed a four-year, $153 million deal with the Lakers on Sunday night, leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Eastern Conference behind. More could follow if the Lakers make a trade with the Spurs for Kawhi Leonard, with the likes of Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma possibly on the table. Though the agreement wasn't entirely surprising, wherever James plays, he impacts the entire league.

Although at least one fan had to remind James that when he came back to Cleveland he said: "I'm not going anywhere ever again".

Cleveland was unceremoniously swept by the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals.

But three-time National Basketball Association champion James did decide to take his talents to the Staples Center after signing a four-year deal worth $153.3million.

According to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, James' four-year contract is a sign that he is committed to building a contender in the Lakers.

According to reports, free-agent big man DeMarcus Cousins reached a one-year deal with the Warriors for $5.3 million. "They still ain't gonna win with this team right here - the Lakers with LeBron!"

James is the co-founder of Los Angeles-based production company SpringHill Entertainment, which has developed more than a dozen TV series and films including Starz drama "Survivor's Remorse" and NBC game show "The Wall".

The Pelicans have signed Julius Randle, the Thunder have signed Nerlens Noel and James went to the Lakers.
