It Looks Like Amazon Accidentally Leaked When Prime Day 2018 Is

Notably, Amazon had launched its Prime service in India back in July 2016 at an annual subscription fee of just Rs 499. Users can now opt to pay and use Amazon Prime monthly at Rs 129/month, or continue to opt for the yearly subscription package at Rs 999/year.

Amazon started Prime Day in 2015, and the event offers consumers the biggest selection of discounted items - going above and beyond what's offered on Black Friday. That's according to a Prime Day banner accidentally published on Amazon's United Kingdom site and discovered by TechRadar before being pulled.

That means that Amazon Prime Day 2018 will start at midday on 16 July and end at midnight on 17 July.

Amazon Prime Day 2018 starts on Monday, July 16th, according to the image below captured by TechRadar. Citing the banner, TechRadar says that Prime Day will last 36 hours, making it the longest Prime Day yet. It happens once a year, and a new leak claims the next Prime Day will arrive very soon. So our prediction for Amazon Prime Day in the U.S. this year is a midday start on the 16th EST, running all the way through until midnight on the 17th PST - that would mean Prime Day 2018 running for 39 hours in the US. The company said overall sales rose more than 60% compared to the previous year, with a record "tens of millions of Prime members" taking part in the promotion.

As ever the Prime Day deals are exclusive to Prime members, and you'll have to sign up before the big day to take advantage of any savings. After all, Amazon has been doing more and more with Whole Foods, and other apparel brands like Nike and Calvin Klein are also now available on the site.
