Jay-Z, Beyonce release surprise album 'Everything Is Love'

Just two months after Beyoncé ruined Coachella for every future headliner, the songstress and her husband, Jay-Z, have made history again.

The couple took the stage at London Stadium as part of their On the Run II Tour on Friday, where they honored those affected by the tragedy, which occurred one year earlier, on June 14, 2017.

The pair is now in the middle of their second joint world tour, with many fans speculating they would release new music together at some point in 2018.

Talk about the project has been everywhere since Beyonce released her last solo effort, Lemonade, in 2016, but the couple waited until the weekend to exclusively offer up the album, without fanfare, via the rapper's streaming service, Tidal. In the six-minute video, the couple filmed inside The Lourve in Paris, standing alone in front of the Mona Lisa and other famous artworks.

Signalling a new era in their music careers - that includes a rapping Bey, "Everything Is Love" is Beyoncé and Jay Z's first album together. It's anyone's guess if this new music will appear.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are now performing their 48-date On the Run 2 tour.

"We were using our art nearly like a therapy session", he revealed.

"Because we love you all so much we have something special for you".

"Billie Jean in his prime / For the thousandth time / The kid ain't mine", Jay-Z raps on Heard About Us, referencing Michael Jackson's classic song about a paternity case.

Beyonce and Jay-Z announced their album at their concert here and also debuted their video.

"Shout out to Rumi & Sir, love Blue", Blue says.

The news began trickling out on Saturday afternoon with social media posts containing images from the "Everything Is Love" visual campaign.

A year later Jay-Z asked for forgiveness on his own album 4:44.
