Rudy Giuliani gets chilly reception, booed at Yankee Stadium for birthday

Giuliani came up as Morning Joe addressed news that the former NY mayor was booed loudly at Yankee Stadium while he attending a game yesterday. Fans did not share the sentiment, the New York Daily News noted, as Giuliani was greeted with a chorus of boos from the Yankees faithful.

Rudy Giuliani now knows that feeling and he doesn't even play for the team.

Giuliani joined Trump's legal teamlast month, tasked with dealing with special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation.

The former mayor of New York City and current lawyer for President Donald Trump showed up at Yankee Stadium on Monday to take in a ballgame.

"They're giving us the material to do it". The Post reports he was booed in 2007 too.

Giuliani has also made what seemed to be some damaging admissions, including confirmation that Trump had paid adult film star Stormy Daniels a total of $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged affair the two had in 2006. Either fans were taking out their frustrations on Giuliani or he's just not as popular as he once was in the Big Apple.

The Yankees lost to the Astros, 5-1.

He was mayor of NY from 1994 to 2001, so he's known to residents in that city.
